Having first used Lo Studio's hand cream, I couldn't stop smelling my own hands. The mix of Bergamot, Cedarwood and Oak Moss from their 'Pathless Wood' scent was so addictive and heady, it almost made me want to eat it. It wasn't just this variety that had that effect either! Gertrude has this fresh and unusual blend of Rose Pink Pepper, Blackcurrant and Spearmint, that envelopes you in a feeling of being immersed in a lush garden. Unkempt Geisha is my other favourite. Orchid, Pink Pepper, Vetiver & Geranium, it is full of a powerful femininity.

The Story behind Lo Studio

A loved one’s death signified the birth of LO. Between the copious cups of tea and the numbness death brings, candle making was the happy place. Mixing potions, creating scents and doing something positive, it was also an avenue for nostalgia.

 

Their hand wash and cream are made with Scottish sea buckthorn, known for its vitamin and antioxidant qualities and exfoliating ground pumice stone. These luxurious candles are vegan, have no herbicides or pesticides, parabens, bleaches or dyes, palm oil, single use plastic or fragrance enhancing chemicals.
